First days of school!

While I am sure this is not the FIRST day of school 2013, I am pretty sure it was one of the first days.  I just know I didn't send Mya in a matching pink sweat suit.

Now, this was the first day of school--Mya's first day of kindergarten for sure!  I can tell by my misty eyes!  She was so ready and so excited.  But I did peek in to her room when she sat down at her table spot.  She looked a little let down by the container of play dough plopped down in front of her. I think she had much higher expectations!

First day of school 2014--First grader, fourth grader and (gulp)-middle schooler (6th grade).  They were all ready and they sure look happy!

Mya loves school!

Ok, one post on marathon running....

I will admit, five marathons in the past two years has been a lot, but I really love it!  At first, I just wanted to finish and that is exactly what I did.  But now I have bigger goals! I want to qualify for the Boston marathon.  I need a time sub 3:40 and I missed it by just 40 seconds last year and I came back this year, more ready than ever, and missed it by 26 seconds!  UGH!!!!!!!!  But I am going to try again this fall--Chicago!

My friend and personal motivator, Kristin!  She sets my goals for me!!!

=!
I think I was saying "damn it" in this picture.  Still a personal record, but soooo wanting to qualify!

Twin Cities marathon-this is from 2013, the 40 second miss.

Awww....Tough Grandma's marathon--2014 But Garrett still loves me!

A summer of baseball dreams!

Summer 2014--It was Garrett's second year playing for the Phillies on the major league.  They made it all the way to the title of Lake Park Major League Champions!

Then Garrett tried our for the Lake Park All Star Team and made it!  Garrett helped his team make it all the way to state, placing second!  Garrett mostly pitched and played first base.  His goal was to hit one over the fence, which he eventually did!  So proud. :)

Sister Time!

Just needed to add some pictures of me with my beautiful sisters!Jennie, Me, Olivia!

All of us!  Together!  Olivia, Liz, Me, and Jennie (with a photo bomb from our friend Mike in the back).  All school reunion--August 2013.

Liz, Oivia, Me and Jennie--Christmas maybe?  I am not sure why we all look so cute! ;)

Craig, Baby Sam, Me, and Olivia--Sam's baptism.  We are the lucky godparents!

Even though this visit was to support our dad during his heart surgery, we found some sister time!  Fall 2013.

Me, Olivia, our dad, Jennie, and Liz!  I think we were celebrating my dad's birthday, but I am really not sure!  I do remember that we were in the cities and needed a photographer to take this picture!  My nephew Silas (I bet he was 2 or 3) stepped up the challenge and did great!  One of my favorite pictures!  Thanks Silas!

Just a fun night out with Jennie and Olivia! Sorry for squeezing you out of the picture Jennie!!

This is one of my better group selfies!  Liz, Jennie, Me and Olivia!  We are at our cousin Kailee's wedding reception.  Geez Jennie, squeezed you out again! ;)

November was....expensive.

I am just not sure where to start blogging again.  I had so much fun looking at my pictures and reading my blogs that I just want to add everything!  So, this is November 2014.  Mya lost both of her front teeth (she found a picture of Tate when he lost both of his front teeth and thought I that I MUST take a picture, calling them twins!).

Then of course we celebrated Thanksgiving.  Grandma and Grandpa came to visit and Mya helped Grandma make a meat and cheese tray look like a turkey, which Grandpa helped them make little Christmas houses.

And Garrett got his braces this month. $$$$  He is looking a little uncomfortable here, day of, but as you can see, Tate might be enjoying his brothers discomfort, a little.

Bulldog fans!

Awwww....I love this picture.  I guess I didn't publish this one either!  I am sure we were getting ready for a bulldog hockey game.  We used to go pretty often, but not so much anymore.  I am usually watching THEM play hockey on the weekends.  Garrett is now 11 and Tate is 9.  How did that happen!?

My Three Babies!

I found this unpublished post too! I am guessing I got busy taking care of these babies!  I am pretty sure I was trying to capture a really cute picture of the three of them together.  Hope I kept trying!

A Happy Day Raspberry Picking

Hmmmm....more raspberry picking.  I didn't publish this one either.  But this one looks like they are a little older!  I am sure just another summer day with my happy berry pickers! ;)  Summer 2010 I think.

Another Happy Day Raspberry Picking?

I just came across this post that I never published.  I am going to take a guess that we were raspberry picking and that it was a wonderful day.  No fighting, no crying, no emergency bathroom breaks....just happy raspberry pickers enjoying the day.  I would say the year was summer 2009....or 10?

Back to it!!

Where did the time go?!  I actually got so busy that I stopped blogging.  But I am back, and I want to go back and capture all the events from the past , uh, 4 years, but that is going to be tricky.  So, I will pick a few highlights and start from today and move forward!  So, here is a picture of Tate from not this summer, but the summer before--let's see--2013? He caught a big fish--I think it's a small mouth bass.  I will confirm with him tomorrow.  He caught it in the BWCA while camping with his brother Garrett, dad, and his friend Chad.  Garrett caught a big fish too, but I will need to find that picture!
